「Cranky Vitamins」は日本語に訳すと「風変わりなビタミン」という意味になります。美術鑑賞は時に精神に安らぎをもたらし、時に知的好奇心を掻き立て、心に栄養を与えるものとしばしば言われます。コロナ禍においてもその役割に変わりは無いように思われます。本展では、出品者それぞれの思索により辿り着いた、独特な素材や機材の扱い、または技法・技術の応用から生まれた作品を展示しています。風変わりなビタミンで心に栄養をつけて頂けましたら幸いです。新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により本展も入場時の消毒、および必要に応じて入場制限などの対策を行なっております。皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。 ※会場の入場者の状況は下記URLで随時公開しております。よろしければご来場の際ご確認下さい。

Thank you very much for coming to "Cranky Vitamins" by Charles Worthen, Tou, Noriko Nakamori, and Mitsuo Maruhashi today. "Cranky Vitamins" really means "eccentric vitamins" when translated into Japanese. It is often said that appreciation of art brings peace of mind, arouses intellectual curiosity, and nourishes the soul. It seems to me that this role is no different in the coronavirus outbreak. In this exhibition, they present works created through the use of unique materials and equipment, or through the application of techniques and technologies, arrived at through the contemplation of each exhibitor. We hope that you will nourish your mind with these quirky vitamins.
