八丁堀電停から徒歩で3分程度、YMCAの前にあります。
野井成正さんのデザインによる店舗はらせん階段でつながれた1階と天窓からのやさしい自然光が入る2階のスペース。
一葉は、陶磁器・ガラス・漆器・木工等普段使いの食器の展示・販売が中心。
全国の工房を訪れながら使い心地の良い飽きのこない器を選んで紹介、2003年の開店以来、今ではその作家数も30人を超えます。
毎日でも使いたくなる、そしてシンプルな粉引・織部・焼〆・灰釉や染付等の食器が中心のギャラリーです。

Gallery Ichiyo welcomes you with an impressive large picture window. It is located in front of the YMCA, a three minute walk from the Hachobori tram stop. This gallery was designed by Narimasa Noi. We have a gallery space on the 1st floor, and you can walk up the spiral staircase to the 2nd floor, which is full of natural light. We exhibit and sell daily-use tableware made from ceramic, porcelain, glass, lacquer, and wood. We visit workshops all over Japan to find good products that fit well in the hands and have an interesting design. Since we opened Ichiyo in 2003, we have introduced more than 30 artists. We have various selections of kohiki, Oribe, Yakishime, Kaiyu, and Sometuke. You can find your favorite tableware that you will want to use everyday.
